The 'outstanding' Ravelin Sports Centre is now open for you to play, train and compete in.
Be inspired to reach your potential and achieve your best in one of the UK’s greenest sports centres. Swimmers will have views from the pool of the natural green spaces outside, creating the feeling of open-air swimming in the park. The climbing wall, rising up through the centre of the building, from basement to roof, will set the challenge. A workout in the gym, virtual skiing or class with friends aided by the latest sports science technology will keep you on track. This facility is aiming to be net zero carbon ready and has received a top rating of ‘Outstanding’ from BREEAM UK, the world’s leading sustainability assessment for buildings. Pool water is re-used for toilet flushing and a wildflower amphitheatre events space will develop biodiversity in the surrounding areas.
Our 175 station gym will be the base for all your fitness needs, with top of the range Technogym equipment connecting your workout whether you want to Play, Train or Compete you can reach your goals at Ravelin Sports Centre. Sustainability
As well as the extensive range of activities that Ravelin Sports Centre facilitates, the building itself is also an asset to the city, thanks to the sustainability measures that have been implemented into its design. The centre has already received a top rating of ‘Outstanding' from BREEAM UK, the leading sustainability assessment.
Ravelin Sports Centre utilises renewable sources of energy from roof solar panels and internal heat recovery systems. Pool water is reused for toilet flushing and a new community orchard is part of a sustainable drainage system. A green roof has been installed and sown with grass and wildflower seeds. All of these factors combined with the wildflower amphitheatre events space will develop biodiversity in the surrounding areas.

- Core (£15) - Choose two activity options from gym, swim, classes
- Super (£20) - Choose three activity options from gym, classes, swim, climbing and squash
- Ultimate (£22.50) - Get access to everything (gym, swim, classes, squash, climbing, aqua classes)
